The Powerhouse truly is the most complete venue for the modern bride. In addition to the full services of your reception, you may also have your ceremony inside the Powerhouse for an additional fee.
For the ceremony, the room will be set with rowed seating and an aisle, with the service performed either on or in front of the elevated theatrical stage. After the ceremony, the bride and groom may retreat to our VIP room for refreshment and the wedding guests will be asked to head upstairs to the mezzanine for beverages and appetizers while the Powerhouse staff transforms the main room from the ceremonial theater into a grand reception hall. We will set centerpieces and place linens, set tables (depending on menu), arrange chairs, and place guest favors. (The process usually takes under thirty minutes.) When the room is set, the guests are invited back downstairs where they will await the bride and groom’s entrance on our grand staircase.
Also included in this fee is an extra hour of service—making the length of your event at the Powerhouse seven hours instead of six, allowing for the arrival of your guests and the ceremony itself (a $400 value in itself). We also make the VIP room available throughout the night, pass appetizers and a champagne toast (not included in the price of the service fee), and cut your wedding cake. We also make the Powerhouse available for up to one hour of rehearsal time in the days leading up to your wedding.
Lighting and décor

We are capable of the full array of lighting and décor, and will coordinate the efforts of any outside vendors.
Standard white linens and accent lighting are included in the price of your room fee. We can also create entirely new moods with pin-spot lighting on individual guest tables or colored lighting on cake tables or up-lighting on the walls.
Floor-length linens and chair covers are also available in a broad assortment of colors and styles.
Arches, gazebos, heated tents to accommodate large groups—we will handle everything so you can enjoy the party with your guests.
$150 per hour for the first five hours, with the sixth hour for free (minimum four hours per booking)
Clients who wish to maximize value for their event utilize our convenient in-house DJ service, coordinated by Adam Eberle of Directly Driven Sound Production. With virtually unlimited titles and playlists, you can personally customize the music and choose your theme in from a broad array of genres, including Latin, club, or wedding music from time-honored processionals to modern crowd-pleasers.
Our DJ provides not only responsive live mixing of music to match the mood and keep your guests on the dance floor, but also plays an essential role in your event as a professional master of ceremonies.
Included in the DJ fee is the whole host of audiovisual equipment the Powerhouse has to offer:
- Full concert-quality stereo sound system on both floors
- State-of-the-art dance lighting with 24” mirror ball
- Wireless hand-held and lapel microphones
- 5500 lumen LCD projector and 12’ x 10’ screen for video presentations
- DVD player, VCR, laptop input
